DO YOU NOT KNOW ME ? ....
I am a member of the human race.
A crime does not remove me from this place.
Look at me--into my face--
is there no human trace? Why do others abuse,
curse, and spray me with mace?
If I were a dog, I would be a saint,
People would splash the warden with paint,
Picket the Governor for a stay,
Until I was free to roam and play.
But alas, I once sped along the rat race,
I am out of the race because
I have no pace nor place;
A man society ripped of my place.
Sprayed with mace, denied insulin, tortured,
Blinded .... stripped without a trace. ....
I no longer have a place in the human race....

NOTE:
This work hangs in the
Cathedral of St. John
the Devine in New York City.

For the friends and loved ones Kenneth left behind
As children we fear the unknown.
As we grow we spread our wings to try new things,
As we do them we learn there was nothing to fear.
As humans we all fear death,
But like many others that has made the crossing to the other side.....
Kenneth Malone now knows there was nothing to fear.
For I believe he is with his family and loved ones.
The long arm of the law can not hurt him any longer.
Kenneth is free to go where he please's in a flash.
Even here to gide me to say what he wants his loved ones to know.
So in clossing please be happy for kenneth.
For now he is complete, healthy and free.
Here is to you Kenneth and all the work you did here on earth for mankind,
Here is to you Kenneth for the work you are doing on the other side to help mankind.
Kenneth will be greatly nissed in the flesh,
but if we try we can feel his spirit.
